About the Team

The Partnerships team at Mixpanel is responsible for the development and execution of strategic programs across our Strategic and Technology Partners and working closely with regional Channel Managers to optimize the selection of and operations with in-market Solution Partners and Resellers. We are a lean team, in build-mode, that prioritizes focus and pipeline as we create the infrastructure for future growth.

About the Role

As Partner Development Manager, you will play a key role in the strategy development, and lead the execution, optimization and expansion of our GTM motions with key partners like Google, Snowflake and select alliances across the Message & Engagement, Data Platform (including CDP), E-Commerce and AI spaces.  This role requires an understanding of Mixpanel and our surrounding ecosystem, the ability to collaborate with both commercial and technical teams, strong prioritization and organizational skills and the ability to think strategically but also execute with urgency.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operations with existing Technology partners and manage in-bound demand.
  • Design and execute global GTM programs, working closely with regional Channel Managers for on-the-ground support.
  • Collaborate with marketing & demand gen teams to launch campaigns designed to spread awareness and drive pipeline
  • Assist Product Marketing in the development and articulation of joint value propositions.
  • Ensure mutual success by establishing expectations with partner’s cross-functional teams, setting goals and driving internal & external QBRs.  
  • Work closely with Enablement to create and deliver training on how best to collaborate with partners (and the partner team) across all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Embed into sales teams and the pipeline process to drive awareness on (a) the progress of partner sourced deals and (b) where partners can help revenue teams get deals across the finish line.  Ensure deals are properly marked in Salesforce/Clari and maintain an executive-ready dashboard showing said impact. 

We’re Looking for Someone Who Has

  • 10+ years of professional experience, preferably within a high-growth SaaS environment, with a minimum of 5 years experience developing Strategic or Technology Partner GTM motions.
  • Track record of systematically driving pipeline and stimulating an ISV co-sell motion.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Clari, Crossbeam and PartnerStack.  Tackle.io familiarity is a plus. (Looker?)
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value and formulate joint value propositions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Account Management, Marketing & Product teams.
  • An understanding of the importance of focusing efforts and establishing credibility with quick wins - not spray and pray approach.
  • Strong project management experience, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple initiatives, and execute within deadlines.
  • Proactive and adaptable; a tenacious team player.

Bonus Points For

  • MBA or other advanced business degree, JD or engineering degree.
  • Previous experience in management or strategy consulting.
  • Experience partnering with Snowflake, Databricks or GCP Marketplace & Industry teams, with accompanying rolodex.
  • Previous technical experience including a Pre-Sales or Solution Engineering role.
  • Fluency with APIs, Post-man, and ability code.

Compensation

The amount listed below is the total target cash compensation (TTCC) and includes base compensation and variable compensation in the form of either a company bonus or commissions. Variable compensation type is determined by your role and level. In addition to the cash compensation provided, this position is also eligible for equity consideration and other benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage. You can view our benefits offerings here.Our salary ranges are determined by role and level and are benchmarked to the SF Bay Area Technology data cut released by Radford, a global compensation database. The range displayed represents the minimum and maximum TTCC for new hire salaries for the position across all of our US locations. To stay on top of market conditions, we refresh our salary ranges twice a year so these ranges may change in the future. Within the range, individual pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and other factors.
