The Team:

The partner marketing team is part of global demand generation, and works in close partnership with cross functional teams including the broader go-to-market organization and ecosystem sales organization to devise, build and execute integrated partner demand generating activities that drive awareness and accelerate pipeline.

The Role:Reporting to the Head of Partner Marketing Global Programs, the Partner Marketing Programs Manager is responsible for developing and executing on programs that enable our team to drive global demand generation activities with our key strategic partners. This role will also be responsible for driving and executing global demand generation activities with a few of our key strategic partners.

The work you’ll do:

  • Program development & strategic planning: Developing and implementing partner marketing programs and initiatives that align with the company's strategic objectives. This may involve evolving existing frameworks, such as the partner program or developing new initiatives such as a cost neutral sponsorship program.
  • Partner empowerment: Providing partners with the necessary resources, training, and support to effectively promote and sell the company's products or services. Such as partner marketing best practices and training on how to implement through their own channels. Evolving the partner marketing self service program. 
  • Partner advocacy & cross functional collaboration: Acting as an advocate for partners within the organization, championing their interests, and ensuring their feedback is heard and addressed. Working closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, product, and finance to align partner activities with overall business goals, provide necessary support, and ensure a consistent and coordinated approach.
  • Performance tracking and analysis: Monitoring partner marketing team performance, tracking key metrics and KPIs, and providing regular reports and insights to partners and internal stakeholders. This helps evaluate the effectiveness of partner programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Process ownership: Expanding and enhancing the team's process documentation to ensure we operate as smoothly as possible and can bring new team members up to speed efficiently. 
  • Continuous improvement: Staying updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and partner ecosystem dynamics, and proactively seeking ways to enhance the partner program, optimize processes, and drive better results.

 

The qualifications you need:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of related partners and programs demand generation experience; in the software industry preferred
  • Strategic and programmatic thinker, with a strong drive to take from idea to reality. 
  • Proven experience building and executing multi-channel marketing programs to, through and with partners, based on a foundation of data and analysis; optimizing reach, awareness, and nurture, and adjusting for optimization
  • Financial/analytical background a plus
  • Strong stakeholder management skills including buy in creation, pipe targets, budgets, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Ability to think strategically, prioritize tasks, execute with attention to detail, and consistently meet deadlines
  • Presentation skills and confidence in communicating with cross-functional leaders. 
  • Travel 2-3 times per year
