WHAT YOU’LL DO

The role of the Brand Partnerships Coordinator is to support sales initiatives across Vox Media. A key member of a client-facing team focused on earning the interest and confidence of our advertising partners, this individual is responsible for supporting the Client Partnerships organization in their pursuit of lucrative, long-standing revenue partnerships. 

Collaboration is at the core of this role as this individual will work closely with pre and post-sale teams including Solutions Planning, Integrated Marketing, Creative Strategy, Brand Marketing, Media, Audio, Insights (and more!) to ensure we are meeting our clients expectations and marketing objectives. This role will perform administrative functions, act as a key liaison to other corporate departments and our brands, and contribute to special projects as needed.   

This individual should be upbeat, flexible, detail-oriented, intellectually curious, a digital native, a team player, and a passionate fan of our editorial brands. The role requires someone who is eager to work cross functionally with dynamic executives / teams to deliver for our clients in ways that promote Vox Media’s continued momentum in the market. The position is part of a high energy, entrepreneurial Partnerships organization and reports directly to the Head of Enterprise & Agency Partnerships. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the overall successful operation of the Partnerships Teams by helping multiple very busy and dynamic groups work fluidly while finding efficiencies
  • Help in meeting preparation by assisting in materials creation, curation and packaging for client requests. Working with internal teams in preparing presentations and compiling materials for meetings, helping to lead internal and external correspondence, and organizing and maintaining client contacts
  • Conduct research on specialized topics, for bespoke projects 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to better understand existing ideas from editorial networks, the media strategy, and the value to our advertising partners
  • Join meetings to learn about brand partnerships at Vox Media and our unique position in the market. Track, follow, take notes, and make recommendations as needed regarding appropriate action, follow up, and due dates
  • Work closely with Heads of Industry and their teams on forecasting and revenue tracking
  • Coordinate high-level meetings and events (including scheduling, agenda creation, meeting logistics, catering, etc.) as needed
  • Manage and maintain calendars, schedules, travel arrangements, expense reporting for several partnerships leads, & track budgets while making decisions regarding executives' available time
WHO YOU ARE
  • 1+ years of experience within the media industry, digital/social/audio publishers, or advertising/creative/media agency
  • Passion for the advertising industry and how Vox Media fits in and differentiates itself against our competitive set both broadly speaking and within the context of specific partnerships opportunities with advertising partners
  • Strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills and a can-do, solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders on proposal and campaign-related tasks, including Solutions Planners, Integrated Marketers, Brand Marketers, Creative Strategists, Insights Analysts and Account Strategists
  • Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects/workstreams, prioritize assignments, meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Excel, Google Slides, PowerPoint and Photoshop skills a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and a meticulous eye for detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree

This job is remote/in-office in New York City. PAY TRANSPARENCY

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay for this position at the time of this posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.

Pay Range$60,000—$70,000 USD
