As the Payroll Administrator for the US, you will be responsible for reconciling and processing payroll for 3,000+ employees. We are looking for a payroll professional who is detail oriented, a team player, and has good communication skills.
What you’ll do:
- Follow established procedures to process semi-monthly payroll and equity payrolls for 3,000+ US multi-state, exempt and nonexempt employees
- Process off-cycle payments as needed
- Maintain SLAs and provide relevant and timely responses to employee and cross-functional team inquiries and requests
- Perform quarter-end and year-end reconciliations and reporting; process tax amendments as needed
- Support 401K, workers compensation, SOX and financial audits
- Review timesheets for payroll processing
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve or support new business processes
- Support ad hoc duties and projects as needed
What we’re looking for:
- BS degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Business, Finance or Human Resources
- 5+ years full-cycle exempt/non-exempt payroll experience
- Experience using Workday, ADP SmartCompliance a plus
- Knowledge of multi-state and local tax compliance requirements
- Knowledge of final pay and overtime rules by state
- Knowledge of payroll reporting requirements as it relates to Equity transactions (i.e. stock options, RSU, etc)
- Proficiency in Excel (vlookup, pivot tables) and experience with large data sets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Agile in a face-paced environment
