About the TeamThe Payroll Coordinator will be part of the People Operations Team at Cardlytics.  The Operations team is responsible for managing the operational aspects of the People department ensuring that our processes and systems are efficient, compliant and effectively support our employees and business objectives.  At Cardlytics the People Operations team includes payroll, benefits, immigration, compliance, recognition, systems, onboarding, and offboarding.

About the PositionReports to: Director, People OperationsLocation: Atlanta GA 

The Payroll Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring our employees are accurately and timely paid for their work at Cardlytics.  This includes everything from processing and reviewing payroll to ensuring we are compliant with applicable laws, and providing strong customer service to our employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Process US bi-weekly non-exempt payroll and off-cycle payrolls
  • Review and approve US semi-monthly exempt payroll
  • Work closely with the equity team to process vestiture income
  • Collect and verify timekeeping data
  • Manage and reconcile payroll reports
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll regulations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records
  • Establish and maintain company registration with states and local agencies for payroll purposes
  • Audit payroll data for accuracy and completeness
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and tax matters
  • Collaborate with the People team and other departments to address payroll issues
  • Assist with Payroll Manager tasks when the Payroll Manager is out of the office
  • Assist the Accounting team with initiatives such as stock compensation and compensation accounting
  • Other duties as assigned  

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1 year experience with Workday payroll
  • Proven proficiency with payroll software and tools
  • General understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws and compliance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, human resources, or related field
  • Workday Certification
