In this pivotal role, you will ensure compliance, enhance efficiency, and streamline payroll processes for both local and international operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Take the lead in the implementation of our new payroll system, developing comprehensive project plans that outline timelines, milestones, and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring that deliverables are met on schedule and within financial constraints, while proactively addressing any challenges that arise.

Payroll Processing Oversight:

  • Oversee all payroll activities, ensuring they are conducted in strict compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
  • Implement best practices in payroll processing to guarantee accuracy and timeliness.

System Optimisation:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of current payroll processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement system upgrades and enhancements that improve efficiency and accuracy, all while minimizing disruption to daily operations.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of the payroll system with other operational processes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

Proven Expertise: A strong background in payroll project management and end-to-end payroll processing is essential.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with leading payroll software (such as ADP, Paychex) and ERP systems (NetSuite is preferred).

Compliance Knowledge: A solid understanding of payroll compliance, award interpretation, and relevant regulations.

Advanced Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with Excel skills being particularly crucial for data analysis and reporting.

Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proactive attitude toward fostering continuous improvement and collaboration.
