The Opportunity

As the leader of global payroll, you’ll be asked with the timely and consistent operational excellence of payroll at Agoda, which has average 99.7%+ accuracy for several years, Keeping up with the latest technology and trends in the payroll space to enhance the services we provide and value Agodans receive. Leading, engaging, and developing a team of professionals to achieve the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. Your global experience will help clear blockers and see around corners to ensure our specialists can execute unencumbered so that they can do their best work.

In this Role, You’ll:

  • Supervise and ensure accurate delivery of monthly payrolls across 40+ international entities
  • Develop deep relationships and partner closely with our global external payroll providers to ensure high-quality work, responsive service and drive continuous improvement
  • Partner with Compensation & Benefits, People Technology, Onboarding, and Finance teams to ensure the accuracy, timeliness and compliance of reporting, while documenting the policies, processes and controls, and identify, implement improvements.
  • Build the team’s domain knowledge across a range of payroll-related topics so that the team can effectively serve as a knowledgeable source in response to employee queries
  • Other responsibilities include but not limited to participate in special projects or ad hoc analyses as assigned

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of demonstrated experience in payroll within a multi-national organization experience
  • Experience in leading payroll migration and integration projects
  • Prior leadership experience in a fast growth environment strongly preferred
  • Strong interest in team capability building and in leading others
  • Excellent communication and strong business partnership skills
  • High level of discretion, confidentiality and ethics
  • Experiences using Workday; and using ADP or CloudPay is good to have
