Payroll System Analyst, ADP Workforce

As a Payroll, Business Systems Engineer, you will support the Payroll operations team with system and process enhancements including ADP Workforce Now and ADP Celergo. The job requires the support of change orders and validations during off hour implementations.

Day-to-Day...Analysis, configuration, administration and testing of applications utilized to manage the day-to-day Payroll operations.

This role will be based remotely in North America.

What you can expect on a typical day:
  • Experience using ADP Workforce Now/Celergo or other enterprise level payroll software
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in implementing payroll systems
  • This role will be supporting a major global payroll implementation (Celergo)  as the Payroll systems lead
  • This role will involve overseeing various payroll technical projects and implementation, from collecting business requirements to analyzing data, designing features, configuring systems, testing, and finally implementing the project
  • You will support optimization efforts by leveraging analytics and reporting data to identify & quantify enhancement opportunities
  • You will participate in system enhancements for process improvements and contribute as a tester for all payroll initiatives
  • You will support user acceptance testing (UAT) through the development and execution of test cases, identifying defects and recommending improvements
  • You will have a close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Business Systems, Engineers, Project Managers, and People teams, to stay updated on what is happening and the impact of it on the payroll systems, and communication efforts align
  • You should understand common payroll risks and follow best practices, including requirements for employment records, record maintenance, various admin access, and separation of duties between HR and payroll
  • Support data requirements to enable reporting for payroll compliance reporting including, 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • You will be responsible for the provisioning and ticket management 
  • You will participate in technology and product initiatives, in a support role, interfacing with business unit (BU) stakeholders and User Experience (UX) Leads to translate and validate business needs
  • You will support partnerships with Technology and Product teams 
  • Experience with enterprise HRIS applications like SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle etc
  • Understanding the context of data protection regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and separation of duties between various HR and Finance teams
  • Knowledge on carrying out various audits against various business systems to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), and company policies
  • Experienced in documenting processes for administrative user groups
