People Analytics Manager
This role reports into our Boston office Monday-Thursday (remote flexibility on Friday)
Wayfair’s People Analytics team helps the company make thoughtful, data-driven decisions about its talent. We use data to drive meaningful change in how Wayfair builds the best team in home.
In this role, you’ll drive impact by generating, sharing, and scaling people analytics reporting and insights for the broader Wayfair organization and its leaders by analyzing data related to Talent and operational topics including Headcount & Org Health (i.e. Attrition, Org Shape), Hiring, and Performance & Efficiency.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner closely with a team of people analysts, business intelligence analysts, and engineers to evolve our talent data model and design consumable, high-impact dashboards and visualizations for highly impactful topics
- Work with stakeholders and leaders across Talent and the business to identify and prioritize our most critical people analytics product and automation needs
- Manage processes and data products such as forecasting models, dashboards (e.g. Visier, Looker), and survey tools (e.g. Qualtrics), and recurring analyses (e.g. pay equity, attrition reporting)
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of analysts
- Conduct in-depth analysis on specific topics, i.e. Organizational Shape, Attrition, and Employee Engagement
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years experience in an analytics, strategy, or product
- Experience building, managing, and leading a team
- Degree in a quantitative field like Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, or Statistics
- Excellent analytical skills with experience turning data into actionable insights and appetite to become the SME in Talent related analytics
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, proficient in Google Sheets and Google Slides
- Some knowledge of SQL and Python or R; experience with Google BigQuery, Data Studio, Tableau or Looker a plus
- Experience collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups, communicating with diverse audiences, and balancing/negotiating priorities
- The integrity, maturity, and respect to handle extremely confidential and sensitive employee data
