  • This role's working hours are Sunday to Thursday from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.    
  • This is a 100% in-person role, meaning you will be required to come to our Distribution Center located at 3520 Laird Road Mississauga, L5L 5Z7

Reporting to the People Operations team with a dotted line to the People & Culture Manager on site, People Operations Administrator is responsible for providing on-site support to all employees, ensuring the accuracy of HR data, and assisting with various HR processes and events. This role is integral to the smooth operation of HR activities at the site level, with a focus on onboarding, data management and compliance

  • Serve as the primary contact for new joiners, ensuring a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience.
  • Manage on-site onboarding activities, including orientation sessions, and address any immediate concerns of new employees.
  • Ensure that all required documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and local regulations at the site level, ensuring all processes align with legal and corporate standards.
  • Conduct regular data accuracy checks for HR systems specific to the site.
  • Update and maintain employee records, ensuring data integrity across all platforms.
  • Provide on-site support for Tier 1 HR queries, resolving issues or directing them to the appropriate channels as needed.
  • Act as a point of contact for hourly employees seeking assistance with HR-related questions and actively participating in conversations on the production floor.
  • Assist with the integration of new systems, processes, and technologies within the HR function on their site.
  • Assist in data cleanup projects, ensuring all employee information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Provide backup support for the People Process Admin at other sites as needed, ensuring continuity in HR operations.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement and special projects to drive efficiencies and optimization within the HR team and DC operations
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Excellent customer service and enthusiasm for connecting with employees including  the ability to explain systems, processes and bridge communication gaps
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion, especially as it relates to sensitive employee information
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, plus excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast paced ever-changing work environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including active listening and proofreading
  • Ability to demonstrate good, sound judgment and work independently with minimum direction or supervision
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Meet)
  • Human Resources experience is considered an asset (not required) 
  • Workday/HRIS systems considered an asset.
