About the RoleWe’re looking for a proactive and collaborative People Operations Partner to join our London team on a 13-month maternity cover. You’ll play a key role in delivering a best-in-class employee experience across the EMEA region.
In this role, you’ll own the day-to-day execution of People Operations, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with country-specific requirements. Acting as the first point of contact for employees, you’ll provide guidance on policies and processes, while maintaining compliance with UK and EMEA employment law.
What You’ll Do Employee Experience & Support- Act as a trusted partner to employees and managers, providing day-to-day HR guidance.
- Oversee onboarding, mobility, promotions, and offboarding to ensure a smooth employee journey.
- Respond to employee queries via our ESM (Zoe) tickets and support project syncs to enhance access to information.
- Partner with Recruiting to issue offers and contracts of employment for the EMEA region.
- Provide reference responses for leavers in a timely manner.
- Manage daily Workday updates (hires, job changes, terminations, leave approvals).
- Run reports, audit time-off balances, and maintain accurate employee data.
- Support audits, data integrity checks, and documentation control.
- Draft contracts and offer letters across EMEA, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Manage background checks
- Onboard contractors, issue contractor agreements (if necessary).
- Support local compliance needs, e.g., registre du personnel in France, medical scheduling in Italy and Bulgaria.
- Onboard and manage employees via the G-P platform (including terminations).
- Collate payroll changes for EMEA and communicate changes to payroll in a timely manner.
- Share new hire and termination updates with brokers in Bulgaria and the UK.
- Partner with Benefits on Leave of Absence & Time Off policy updates and adhoc projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation in Box folders (offers, joiners, leavers).
- Manage resignations and settlements, ensuring smooth termination processes.
- Oversee the probation process (liaising with managers, ensuring Workday is up to date and issuing letters)
- France, Italy & Bulgaria: Coordinate required medical visits scheduling and benefits offboarding.
- Partner with the Rewards team and local Zeo Success Partners to support the yearly merit process, issuing contract amendment letters in countries that require signatures.
- Run year-end PTO carry-forward reviews.
- Document and optimize employee lifecycle processes.
- Partner with Legal to update the UK employee handbook.
- Support our ESM rollout, training, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Experience in People Operations/HR partnering within international, fast-paced environments.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law, with exposure to broader EMEA regulations (France, Italy, Bulgaria, Germany a plus).
- Hands-on Workday expertise (hires, job changes, terminations, reporting).
- Familiarity with G-P platform, Box, and HR compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and data integrity.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across regions and time zones.
- High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive data.
- Bonus: Additional European languages; experience with health & safety in France/Italy.
- Operates with limited supervision, exercising sound judgment and balancing speed with compliance.
