As a People Partner supporting the Onboarding team in Sofia, this person will serve as the strategic HR business partner to the leadership and teams, providing daily guidance on employee relations, collaborating closely with Onboarding managers to drive engagement initiatives, facilitating conflict resolution, and executing the people agenda within the team (Team Reviews, compensation, career development).

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner with Onboarding leadership to guide and coach on engagement, performance management, and team development.
  • Provide expertise in EU/BG labour law and employee relations, ensuring fair and transparent processes.
  • Drive people initiatives that strengthen culture, recognition, and feedback across high-volume teams.
  • Support the leadership team in defining optimal team structures and performance management practices.
  • Identify and address talent and culture challenges with data-driven insights and empathy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with People Ops, Talent, and L&D to improve systems and practices.

You’ll be great for this role if:

  • You have 4+ years of experience as a People Partner or in a similar HRBP role.
  • You have experience with HRIS tools - WorkDay, Greenhouse, etc.
  • Moderate talent and performance management expertise, with Bulgarian employment law, compensation, and eNPS.
  • You have excellent people and communication skills with the ability to be transparent and direct.
  • You have strong coaching skills and strong prioritization skills.
  • You are analytical, curious, and resilient - able to navigate ambiguity with confidence.
  • You speak fluent English and have a sense of humour plus ability to connect with people quickly.
