People Partner

We are looking for a People Partner for Greater China to join an extremely fast-growing global Fintech business. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, high energy environment.  

What you’ll be spending your time on

This position supports HR programs, policies, and processes to ensure HR service delivery is timely and efficient.

  • Provide high quality, consistent HR guidance, support and resolution to employees and people managers with focus on employee-centric service.
  • Offer HR advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures in compliant with country and provincial legislation and regulations.
  • Keep abreast of the market and regulatory trends and keep up-to-dated with the requirements for the business and entities, and take necessary HR actions to adhere to regulatory and employment law requirements if there are changes.
  • Implement and audit processes associated with the onboarding, offboarding program and probation management to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Employee data management: build China employee P-file from scratch and maintain regularly, on-going employment contract renewal required by the local regulations for timely renewal and accurate data tracking in SuccessFactors.
  • Gather requirements and build on your own or collaboratively with HR Ops team the content and analysis of the workforce reports with senior leaders in China.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for country-wide all staff and people manager development program including rolling out LinkedIn learning campaigns for China.
  • Collaborate and maintain strong relationships with the rest of HR organization and internal customers, and ensure effective communication across the organization.
  • Implement alignment within a specialized People Service’s model helping to bridge the gaps and ensuring consistency in employee experience.
  • Deliver and demonstrate continuous improvement of HR solutions, services, and the quality of execution, meeting the required SLA.
  • Strengthen culture in China via initiatives to promote key values.

For this role, you are/have:

  • Capability to execute plans that align with the organization and HR team’s goals.
  • Aptitude for identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to achieve operational excellence.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees at all levels in the organization with the ability to flex and adapt with business needs
  • Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and offer HR solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Ability to organize and multi-task, has attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work to meet the deadlines.
  • Strong business acumen with excellent influencing skills both onsite and remotely
  • Well-versed in HR processes, HR standard operating procedures, and labor compliance/policy protocols, and have experience in standardizing, implementing and evaluating HR programs for regional level
  • Familiar working in a “roll up your sleeves” environment that is rapidly scaling globally
  • At least 7+ years of HR experience with regional remit.
  • Can work autonomously, self-disciplined and resourceful
  • Skilled with modern HR solutions and services, digitally savvy and be able to apply insights from HR data, HR analytics into practice
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English. Additional language is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of MS office and various HR systems
  • Familiar with global landscape and requirements of public company
  • Exceptional project management skills; ability to drive projects from conception to completion.
  • Capable of balancing both the strategic and operational; can flex between a strategic approach and effective delivery and execution
  • Has strong business acumen; demonstration of HR consulting and problem diagnosis skills.
