Our Opportunity:   Chewy is seeking a Pharmacist Team Lead to serve our "neighborhood pharmacy" in Louisville, KY at our Bluegrass Pkwy location. In this positionyou will support a team of top professionals that are committed to providing outstanding care and wellness services for the pet parents and their pets. In this role, you will be an integral leader of the pharmacy team and a partner in the overall Chewy eCommerce fulfillment network. Your success will be driven by your ability to lead and foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and incredible customer service.   What you’ll do:
  • Act as a liaison between pharmacy leadership and staff pharmacists to promote an environment of open and consistent communication across all shifts and locations.
  • Participate in weekly pharmacist lead meeting to discuss topics in all areas of pharmacy including, but not limited to, reviewing workflow, regulatory compliance, continuous quality improvement, and system enhancements.
  • Assist pharmacy leadership in developing, managing, and coaching a group of staff pharmacists to help build a successful team. Provide ongoing training and coaching as needed.
  • Assist pharmacy leadership in developing and maintaining clear and measurable expectations among the pharmacist team.
  • Engage the pharmacist workforce by seeking out feedback after a process change. Hold small focus group roundtables as needed and report findings to the PIC and POM.
  • Analyze team performance to drive improvement in workflow and productivity. Provide consistent feedback to leadership.
  • Identify training gaps and partner with pharmacy leadership to provide ongoing development plans for pharmacists.
  • Provide regular communication with PIC and POM on team performance.
  • Collaborates interdepartmentally
  • Coordinates and modifies your group’s weekly schedules among sites according to current business needs.
  • Upholds operational standards including performance metrics, safety, and compliance.
  • Perform all tasks of staff pharmacist.
What you’ll need:
  • Current Kentucky pharmacist license
  • Willing to gain any additional license as required
  • Strong customer service and attention to detail
  • Ability to lead a team in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Ability to work a variety of schedules including, evenings, holidays, and weekends
