Mission

We are seeking an experienced Physical Security Systems professional to join our team and contribute to the development of our corporate security function. The Corporate Physical Security Engineer will be tasked with the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive security systems across the company's global portfolio. This role is critical for ensuring the safety and security of personnel, facilities, and assets, while simultaneously maintaining operational efficiency. This individual will collaborate closely with the HR, Legal, Facilities, and Corporate Operations teams to ensure that employee safety and security underpins business operations at all times.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design and implement physical security systems for new construction projects and build-outs, aligning with Databricks standards and industry best practices.
  • Lead integration efforts for access control (including CCURE-9000 and Verkada), video surveillance (Genetec), intrusion detection, alarms, and mass notification systems.
  • Oversee system architecture, configuration, commissioning, and maintenance across multiple locations.
  • Develop mitigation strategies for corporate offices.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, IT, InfoSec, and facilities management throughout the lifecycle of construction and renovation projects.
  • Maintain documentation on system configurations, protocols, and maintenance schedules.
  • Evaluate and integrate new physical security technologies, ensuring scalability and compliance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and manage service contracts.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, and ensure all systems meet regulatory and company requirements.

Required Qualifications 

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in physical security system design, integration, and maintenance for corporate environments.
  • Proven expertise with new build design projects, including large corporate offices, campuses, or data centers.
  • Hands-on experience with the following platforms:
    • CCURE-9000
    • Genetec Security Center 
    • Verkada 
  • In-depth understanding of physical security principles, risk assessment methodologies, and incident response.
  • Proficient at reading and interpreting architectural plans and technical schematics.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Physical Security Professional (PSP) Certification from ASIS or comparable certification is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Security Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience implementing physical security programs for global or multi-site organizations.
  • Vendor management and budgeting experience for large-scale security projects.
