Pilot (Gulfstream)

PILOT
SpaceX is looking for an in-house Pilot in Command for our Gulfstream fleet. You will have the opportunity to fly both domestically and internationally from local airports.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure aircraft ground servicing items such as fuel, oil, oxygen, etc. are monitored and accomplished according to standard operating procedures
- Complete flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks for each assignment
- Complete passenger briefings according to company policy and regulation
- Utilize Threats, Plans, and Considerations briefing methodology for briefings and to mitigate operational risks
- Maintain a current first class medical certificate
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 4,000+ hours total flight time
- First class medical certificate
- FAA type rating in GV
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Boeing 737 type rating
- G650 type rating
- 500+ hours time in type
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Within 2-4 hour travel distance to AUS
- Ability to work on an on-call basis
- Current passport
- Ability to pass Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg
ITAR REQUIREMENTS:
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
