About the role

We are looking for a Pipeline Technical Artist/Technical Director to drive the development of our content pipelines and backends. At Applied Intuition, you will be responsible for a lot of the technical development inside Unreal and/or the pipelines associated with it. This position will join an existing team of talented engineers and technical artists with backgrounds in games, Visual FX, autonomous systems, and robotics. 

At Applied Intuition, you will:

• Establish content pipelines and standards for others to follow
• Establish flexible modular pipelines that are maintainable long term
• Enforce good Python standards
• Work with both Simian and Unreal to connect features where needed
• Create tools for artists to work efficiently

We're looking for someone who has:

• 3+ years of experience with Pipeline
• Experience as an expert user of at least one 3D DCC tool (e.g. Maya/Houdini)
• A solid understanding of Python and game/film pipelines
• Proven ability to work closely with engineers to create custom logic as required

Nice to have:

• Experience with Unreal or other real-time engines (e.g. Frostbite, Unity)
• Houdini experience
• C++, HLSL/GLSL experience
• Experience with Machine Learning
• Computer Science/Software Engineering background

The salary range for this position is $65,000 USD to $400,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices.
