Our Product Development organisation is truly Global with cross functional teams spanning 6 Tech Hubs – Malta, Budapest, Stockholm, Tallinn, Kyiv and Athens. With nearly 600 strong professionals, the Product Development organisation is spear-headed by our CTO-CPO with all our talented Area Teams working together.

A taster of what you will be involved with
  • Working with cutting edge technology enabling our Cloud Journey
  • The Platform Core team is responsible for managing Infrastructure as Code for parts of our Core Platform Layer (Kubernetes Clusters, Message Broker backends, Infrastructure tooling), providing a distributed runtime platform that ensures optimal performance of our business applications, APIs and websites
  • Building our Infrastructure Platforms as self-service to our developers and providing guidance and tooling for developers to self-manage their applications cross environments
  • Continuously improve and develop our platforms based on business needs. Analyse, diagnose and solve issues of efficiency performance and scale collaborating cross functional with colleagues from different teams

Right now, we are looking to strengthen further the management of our Container Platform and Kafka Messaging Platform and looking for a DevOps engineer with strong knowledge and experience in Kubernetes administration and managing Kafka infrastructure.  

You're good at
  • Experience or familiar of working with Kubernetes and cluster administration, preferably with experience with AWS EKS, Rancher RKE or in alternative Google Cloud GKE, or Azure AKS. 
  • Strong knowledge and experience of managing Kafka infrastructure, administration, and configuration. 
  • Experience of working with and managing distributed messaging systems, like multiple Kafka clusters. 
  • Managing Cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, with a good understanding of terraform modules. 
  • Experience working with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiar with Cloud provider services, EC2, ALBs, VPC, EKS etc. 
  • Experience in building systems that scale is required 
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Immutable Deployments 
  • Familiarity with the open-source monitoring stack of Prometheus/Grafana/Loki/Jaeger. 
  • Ability to write scripts in Python, Bash, Powershell or similar 
  • Good LINUX / UNIX background  
  • Strong analytical / problem solving skills 
  • 24×7 business and On-call support
