The role

As part of the Data Platform team, you will be able to drive and collaborate with building and maintaining the infrastructure that provides services to our internal customers. What you’ll do
  • Build and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-performance data platform infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker and IaC.
  • Build and maintain internal messaging protocols and tools, and the underlying infrastructure they run on.
  • Implement and maintain automation tools to simplify the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of our internal data platform services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to ensure data platform requirements are met.
  • Ensure the data platform meets compliance requirements, including data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues related to the data platform infrastructure.
  • Supporting us with moving to a data mesh architecture

What you’ll bring

  • You are a platform engineer with hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • You used, implemented or managed a message queuing system (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Flink)
  • You bring experience in creating and managing an enterprise-scale platform, while setting best practices for security, privacy, monitoring & alerting, and CI/CD 
  • You have programming skills in one or more programming languages such as Python, Bash, Java or Go.
  • You have experience using or implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD or CircleCI. 
  • You have experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, or ELK stack.
