We are looking for a data driven PMO Specialist to join our team and report to the Head of Delivery

 

What You'll Be Doing:

Starting from the ground up you’ll lead in setting up the tools and methods to effectively run our portfolio

  • Leading the adoption of agile project management (Kanban, Lean, and Scrum) methods using standard strategies, based on templates and toolsets.  
  • Monitoring existing projects to ensure timely execution and completion.
  • Gathering and analysing project data and building dashboards to present findings
  • Preparing project status reports for management review.
  • Implementing and running a “Front Door” process for taking on new work
  • Building a Demand and Resource management capability

 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 year's experience as a PMO analyst, project manager, or a similar role within a technology setting.
  • Experience of process development and driving adoption of those processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of agile project management methods and processes including  Kanban , Lean, and Scrum.
  • A solid understanding of Portfolio management
  • Experience of Capacity planning and Resource Management.
  • Expert in project management toolsets such as Jira 
  • Experience of creating data driven performance reports & dashboards using Google LookerStudio or equivalents to show project and programme progress against defined KPI’s
  • Experience in project budgeting and reconciling forecast and actuals at the project level
  • Able to identify delivery risks and maintain a programme level risk log.
  • Excellent written communication skills, we write narratives rather than slide decks.
  • Great stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organisation.
  • You should be a self-starter, driven, and collaborative, and be comfortable adapting to change and learning quickly in a dynamic organisation.

  • Automation experience within PMO toolsets
  • Relevant higher education and professional certifications 
  • Kanban certification 
  • Change Management
  • IT Service Management knowledge (V3 or V4)
  • Experience with procurement processes.
