THE ROLE

 

Key responsibilities

The Portfolio Planner will manage the integrated portfolio plan for a key account. They will ensure adherence to established governance processes, implement change controls, and collaborate with internal and client programme and project managers. The role requires exceptional planning, communication, and problem-solving skills

 

Specific duties

Depending on the project, you will need to be comfortable doing the following:

  • Develop and maintain an integrated portfolio plan for a key account
  • Coach and mentor project professionals
  • Ensure compliance with portfolio governance processes
  • Establish and maintain change control procedures
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and client programme managers
  • Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies
  • Implement robust change management practices
  • Proactively identify potential risks and issues
  • Prepare regular reports on portfolio status
  • Identify opportunities to enhance portfolio planning
  • Foster a collaborative approach by building and nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders, both within Agilisys and with external partners, to achieve shared goals and deliver exceptional outcomes.
  • Embrace a culture of innovation and agility, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and adaptation.

  • Relevant professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Experience in portfolio planning and management
  • Understanding of project management methodologies
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management software
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
  • Passion for innovation and a commitment to shaping the future of public services.
