Our Opportunity:

Chewy is seeking a dedicated, hard-working, and proactive Post-Production Producer to join our in-house Post-Production Department located in Plantation, FL! You’ll be responsible for independently producing Post-Production projects of diverse scope while working with interdisciplinary partners and senior leaders. You must have the experience and passion necessary to jump into a team that handles the support of all business units, digital channels, and broadcast video editing needs for Chewy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Independently produce Tier 1 and Tier 2 Videos and other Post-Production projects of diverse scope, including forecasting and resourcing through delivery
  • Work directly with peers, senior leaders, and collaborators to fully understand and preempt creative and logistical needs
  • Advise on Post-lift, execution feasibility, and timing for all video projects during project intake
  • Provide input into well-rounded Post-Production processes and own workflow documentation as needed
  • Lead all project communications with peers, leaders, and external partners and actively coordinate project status and progress
  • Track and log time spent on projects and ensure all other personnel time is entered and reported accurately
  • Coordinate asset handoff for assigned projects from vendors and external teams while ensuring all design, photo, and video assets are vetted and aligned with project delivery specs
  • Apply a solid understanding of all stages of Post-Production to support all assigned projects
  • Earn trust through active and nuanced communication throughout the Studio and with external leadership
  • Work on other projects as assigned

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ Years of Production or Project Coordination experience in a Post-Production capacity
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Deep passion for everything Production & Post
  • Solid understanding of all aspects of Post Production such as Editorial, Audio, Color, and Graphics, as well as overall video production workflows
  • Working understanding of navigating Digital Asset Management and Media Asset Management systems
  • Experience with and an understanding of Broadcast delivery demands a plus
  • Ability to receive and interpret creative feedback from internal and external clients to advise revisions and creative pivots
  • Sophisticated knowledge of project management tools, including Workfront
  • Thrive in an ever-developing, fast-paced environment - happy to be flexible and pivot on a dime!
  • Ability to act as a phenomenal teammate in a production team, who is ready and able to help come up with solutions to creative problems
  • Active listener with a strong ability to think critically
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Available to work on weekends and evenings when needed
