YOUR MISSION

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to lead Glovo’s PR strategy across our Eastern European and Central Asian markets (Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan), driving our positioning in corporate and lifestyle media. As a regional PR Manager, you will be developing and executing comprehensive PR & communication strategies to elevate Glovo’s value proposition in local and regional media. 

THE JOURNEY

  • Lead the PR strategy to drive and protect Glovo’s reputation in Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
  • Lead Glovo’s regional PR programs and establish a regular cadence of media coverage in regional and local media. 
  • Lead the day-to-day communications tasks & initiatives and handle requests from journalists and be proactive in newsjacking
  • Proactively work to protect Glovo’s reputation in issues management. 
  • Prepare press releases, articles, Q&As, talk tracks for local and regional media outlets
  • Research and write briefing materials, draft statements and media comments on behalf of company spokespeople. 
  • Coordinate content for all corporate and consumer communications on Glovo’s local channels
  • Coordinate the creation & execution of a detailed calendar with key campaigns & events based on the company business and communications objectives
  • Work closely with the Legal & Government Relations teams in the creation of local and regional campaigns and provide PR advice to internal stakeholders
  • Be organized and develop programs that are scalable across the region. 
  • Manage monthly measurement and analytics.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related fields
  • Have good knowledge of the regional media landscape.
  • 5 years of experience in Public Relations (in-house or agency)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrable analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Excellent project management skills and self-starter that can deliver results
  • An execution mindset with an ability to take an idea and run with it
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Fluent Georgian and English language skills (other languages are a plus)
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
