Your mission

As Ground Architect of the precursor mission of Rivada you will be responsible for the implementation of the Network Ground Segment and associated Ground Station of the mission. The precursor mission consists of 4 satellites in LEO with representative Payload including ISL connectivity. The precursor mission is launched ahead of time from the main mission with the purpose to validate the key technologies. Your task will be to ensure all the Ground Segment system is fitting with the mission objectives and timeline while ensuring important information are provided to the main mission. Under the lead of the Lead Ground Segment Architect, you will support the Precursor mission Project lead in interaction with the Ground Segment team architects. After the main mission phase, the Precursor mission Ground Architect will be integrated in the main mission program.This includes:

  • Align test requirement from the precursor mission with Ground segment requirement on the precursor mission
  • Support the development and validation of the Ground Segment key component
  • Ensure on time delivery of the Ground Segment element
  • Support the test definition for the Ground Segment
  • Bridge knowledge and learning with the main mission

What you bring on the table

  • 4-5years experience in Architecture of Satellite communication Ground System 
  • Complex RF payload management understanding (DVB-S2X, Beam hopping…)
  • SW development management experience
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external teams.
