We are seeking an ambitious and exceptional individual with a true passion for data to join our Partner Services Team in Needham. This is a senior analytical manager role, where you will leverage your analytical expertise and communication skills to drive insights both externally to some of our largest Hotel Chain partners worldwide and internally to support our Sales, Data Science and Product teams in enhancing our Auction mechanisms and bidding algorithms. We are seeking an experienced, dynamic self-starter with a track record of successfully leveraging data and analytical approaches to solve problems and uncover opportunities. The ideal candidate has experience working with clients and managing external relationships on both a strategic and analytical level. They are passionate about digging into data, identifying opportunities and driving improvements to influence stakeholders. This role requires collaboration within the team and across various departments, contributing to an open and collaborative working environment across time zones.

What you’ll do:

Campaign optimization & growth for key clients
  • The  Analytical Manager works closely together with the Partner Success Manager for top tier hotel chain clients. The Partner Success Manager is the day-to-day contact working on non-bidding related optimizations, while your role as Analytical Manager is to be accountable for driving the campaign optimization and Cost Per Click (CPC) bidding strategy. You will collaborate closely together to align on overall account strategy and represent the voice of the client to internal stakeholders.
  • This role entails working on Metasearch, Sponsored Placement and Business Advantage campaigns for your partner, which means being able to optimize lower and middle funnel campaigns and being able to articulate their  combined value.
  • You will systematically perform analyses, leveraging data from various sources, to identify problem areas and opportunities. Build upon existing tools and methodologies, and enhance/develop new ones as needed
  • You are able to clearly communicate and sell recommendations for optimization and growth to your clients - including participation in Quarterly Business Reviews, often in front of various levels of leadership up to C-level.  Reliably drive and facilitate preparation work, analyses, and internal reviews for client-facing meetings to ensure proper preparation
  • Support clients on executing their growth strategies and goals each quarter, while tracking & reporting on impact internally. Additionally, you possess the capability to develop long-term strategies for client accounts, leveraging data-driven insights to effectively size and prioritize areas of focus.
  • You advocate for your clients' needs while seeking win-win solutions.
  • You possess the flexibility to adapt your communication style to suit different audiences. This entails engaging with senior leadership to influence decision-making processes, as well as collaborating with day-to-day external stakeholders where in-depth data analysis is necessary.
Internal analytics & strategy
  • Proactively contributing to the work of the wider Hotels team, this could be in the form of analysis & data driven recommendations on internal projects that support the organization's goals.  
  • Work closely with Product and Data Science to gain thorough knowledge and understanding about relevant tests/initiatives and their impact on Meta and Sponsored Placement Auction dynamics. Act as a Product subject matter expert both internally and externally with your clients
  • Work closely with internal teams responsible for data sources, taking an active role in identifying business challenges and developing best practices to address/resolve these
Scaling and leveraging data
  • Leverage Tableau and other tools to build out dashboards & data visualizations - for internal and external usage. Constantly look for ways to improve tools and methodologies used by the team with the goal of reducing manual intervention - freeing up bandwidth to focus on interpretation and analysis
  • Build and document repository of custom SQL queries for the team to leverage to reduce the need for starting from scratch

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Master of Science in an analytical or technical field, OR equivalent years’ experience in data analysis and in a client facing role 
  • Expert understanding of Tableau, SQL & MS Excel (or equivalent tools) to analyze large data sets and create visualizations
  • Excellent problem-solving & analytical skills. A proven track record of successfully & creatively leveraging a data driven approach to solve problems and create opportunities that align with the wider business objectives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate virtually with clients & team members around the globe, sometimes requiring flexible g working hours
  • A fast learner who is resourceful and eager to make an impact A strong sense of ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and working with little supervision in a fast paced, global & highly dynamic environment where products and processes evolve rapidly
  • Results oriented, organized, flexible and open to change and new information; adapts behavior, work methods & priorities accordingly
  • Able to give and receive constructive feedback and embodies a growth mindset
  • Willingness to travel, domestically and internationally
