The Challenge

The Principal Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will be part of the Business Technology HRIS team, reporting directly to the Sr Director, HR Systems.Key objectives of this role:

  • Lead the team in analyzing complex business problems.

  • Recommend efficient automation leveraging Workday (ERP solution).

  • Act as a partner and mentor to teammates and business partners.

  • Drive successful implementation of new Workday features.

  • Automate and optimize existing features.

  • Provide expertise in 3+ Workday modules.

  • Educate and support business partners at all levels.

  • Help ensure People Team success at OneTrust.

Your Mission at OneTrust
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to analyze, design, and solve business needs in 3+ Workday modules.

  • Workday Pro Certification preferred.

  • Mentor team members and business partners on Workday.

  • Be the primary contact for your assigned Workday modules.

  • Research and articulate how Workday features can improve automation and support audits.

  • Support roadmap planning for global and local People Team initiatives.

  • Build best-practice approaches using cost-effective solutions.

  • Lead various support cases, projects, and process improvements.

  • Focus on enhancing the employee/manager experience.

  • Manage Workday administration across 3+ modules:

    • Review and assign support cases.

    • Drive process improvements.

  • Identify business risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities.

  • Drive timely resolutions to support issues.

You Are

To succeed in this role, you should be passionate about Workday and what it can offer. Key qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years of experience implementing/administering 3+ Workday HCM modules, such as:

    • HCM Core

    • Payroll

    • Absence

    • Compensation & Advanced Compensation

    • Benefits

    • Performance Enablement

    • Workday Security

  • Strong leadership, facilitation, and motivational skills.

  • Ability to define processes and suggest improvements.

  • Experience conducting stakeholder workshops, gathering business requirements, and managing small projects.

  • Skilled in documenting and analyzing processes, procedures, or policies.

  • Self-motivated team player with strong organization and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.

  • Comfortable working across various organizational levels and with technical teams.

  • Quick learner with a passion for new technologies and solutions.

  • Able to share knowledge and improve team capability.

  • Ability to identify issues and escalate or delegate effectively.

  • Strong project management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
