SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

Partner empowerment and autonomy, from pre-sales through post-sales and renewals,   are key dependencies for Pure to scale efficiently while ensuring the best experience for our partners and customers.  You will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive, global channel enablement plan that ensures our partners are equipped to effectively value-sell and (where appropriate) implement and support Pure’s entire portfolio. 

What you will be doing

  • Scope the full set of content required to address the needs of the different types of partner organizations, and key personas in these organizations to ensure a deep understanding of Pure’s products, services and value proposition
  • Ensure that required program training is current, relevant, and aligned to company priorities
  • Identify the most efficient delivery vehicles to deliver training (i.e., adjacent to //Accelerate or other events; packaged content for seamless local delivery, etc.) to maximize ROI
  • Deliver training to partners in digital and live settings, aligned with the optimal delivery vehicle, and conduct train-the-trainer sessions for PAMs and PTMs.
  • Collaborate with cLOB and cross-functional teams to create relevant, partner specific content, focused on “what’s in it for the partner?”
  • Create training materials, presentations and documentation to support effective learning
  • Develop enablement tools and resources to empower partners to effectively sell Pure’s products and services, including sales playbooks, battle cards and objection handling guides
  • Ensure enablement efforts are aligned with digital tools used to empower partners and improve sales efficiency
  • Establish relationships with partners to enhance their knowledge, skills, and overall effectiveness in promoting Pure’s products and services
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of partners, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Drive partner participation in enablement programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate the tracking and reporting of training completions
  • Leverage technology to enhance partner enablement
  • Ensure partners are included in all broader enablement initiatives

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • 8+ years experience in channel enablement, sales enablement, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related fields (MBA preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the sales process, channel management, and partner ecosystems
  • Ability to distinguish between customer and partner value propositions and create content focused on what’s in it for the partner
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and measure the effectiveness of enablement programs
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • You will be based in Santa Clara, CA. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

The annual base salary range is: $194,000– $311,000 Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
