The Challenge

We're looking for a Principal Customer Success Architect to join our Customer Success team. In this role, you will act as an Integrations product expert and evangelist across our entire product platform. This person will be required to have deep expertise in how our customers leverage our flexible integration capabilities within OneTrust modules and through various other integration needs from external systems. Your main goal will be to use your deep expertise to deliver valuable solutions to customers as well as provide thought leadership internally to shape product direction and our internal methodology on how our customers should leverage our products. This person must be highly collaborative, possess an inquisitive spirit, and be able to successfully manage ambiguity and frequently changing priorities. The position requires above average attention to details, technical acumen, concern for the accuracy of work, and strong commitment to tasks meeting deliverable dates.

Your Mission

  • Create long-term relationships with OneTrust product, development, and technical teams
  • Work with our Customer Success Managers to deliver outcome-based Integration product solutions
    • Understanding how our clients have implemented the OneTrust platform technology to support further automation within our application
    • Understanding our client’s business processes to further support how our application can flexibly integrate with their related external systems.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical product solutions
    • Enabling further embedding our solutions into their business workflows through a variety of different integrations
    • Further partnering with our Customer Success Managers and clients to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our solutions by utilizing our automated integration workflow capabilities
  • Spreading that expertise by hosting trainings, client sessions, webinars, and informal teaching
  • As new offerings and enhancements are developed, you contribute to scoping their development, adoption, and stabilization
  • Work daily with key stakeholders to provide solutions, guidance and product expertise
  • Accelerate customer value through your knowledge of the OneTrust solutions
  • Provide timely resolutions across all customers of the team
  • Advocate for Customer Success team by understanding the key business requirements of their customers and internally with our Product and Engineering Teams
  • Provide training on new features and accelerate adoption by understanding of their usage
  • Conduct assessments to review customer product usage and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Share our product direction with our customers and share customer input with our product and engineering teams
  • Develop technical solutions to customer problems and initiatives

Your Experience Includes

  • BA/BS in a related subject is required
  • 8+ years in a role within software consulting or related experience
  • Expert working knowledge of the following:
    • APIs (REST and SOAP) and SDKs
    • File access, sharing, and/or management workflows (S3 and SFTP)
    • Various web application authorization types (Basic, Bearer, OAuth 2, API Key, Custom, Open ID Connect, etc.)
    • Related programming/scripting languages and libraries (JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, SQL, C#, Ruby, PHP, FreeMarker, etc.)
    • Symmetric and Asymmetric encryption (AES, 3DES, TLS, mTLS, PGP, RSA, DSA, Hashing, digital signatures, etc.)
  • Extensive experience implementing and troubleshooting integrations
  • Demonstrated success working with enterprise customers on technical products
  • Proven ability to engage across corporate functions (Professional Services, Engineering, Sales and Product Management)
  • Practical experience in troubleshooting software and web services
  • Experience in using software for reporting and task management such as Salesforce preferred

  • Relevant certifications (CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, FIP, GRCP, GRCA, AIGP, LPEC, etc.)
  • Familiarity of privacy, ethics, security, data governance, risk management, compliance, or sustainability concepts or industry trends
  • Some of our product specific roles require additional technical aptitude with the following:
    • Data Governance
      • Working knowledge of containerization, orchestration, and related infrastructures such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
      • Knowledge/scripting skills - preferably Bash and Python, Ansible, Linux, firewall, ports
      • Basic Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL
      • Knowledge of public cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud (AKS, EKS, GKE, Drivers, Storage, VPN, Subnets)
      • Linux and Windows Administration skills
    • Consent & Preferences
      • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
      • Familiarity with mobile application development (eg. iOS AppDelegate Lifecycle, Android Activity Lifecycle)
      • Comfortable with troubleshooting and diagnosing issues in a variety of frameworks (React, Flutter, Cordova, )
