About the roleWe are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven individual contributor to join our team as a Principal Operations Analyst! Reporting to the VP of Product & Engineering Operations, with a dotted-line to the SVP, Engineering, you are responsible for supporting the Engineering organization with their Operational needs. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Management and Administration of Engineering tools
- Partnering with Engineering leadership on training and development initiatives for their teams, in direct partnership with the Operations organization
- Facilitation of Engineering team offsites
- Assisting Engineering leadership with strategic presentations
- Monitoring of Engineering costs and vendors, in direct partnership with Senior Operations Analyst for Budget
- Tracking and monitoring Engineering OKRs and KPIs, in direct partnership with Senior Manager, Operations
- Driving alignment across the organization by locating challenges and defining solutions
- Creating and/or standardizing processes across the Engineering organization in direct collaboration with Engineering Senior Leadership, Including but not limited to:
- Interviews and interview competencies
- Training
- Engineering team onboarding
- Promotion template management
You will also have an opportunity to partner with the SVP of Engineering to work on special projects such as account audits across tools and systems, addressing organizational gaps, and implementing strategic improvements.
We are considering applicants for the location(s) of Dallas, Culver City, and San Francisco. However, this role will require regular travel to Culver City if you are not local.

- 12+ years of relevant work experience as an Engineer or Technical Program Manager
- B.S. Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
- You have experience working in, or with, large Engineering organizations
- You are able to influence without authority and build strong relationships with Senior Leadership
- You have the ability to handle a number of simultaneous projects while demonstrating urgency and ownership to drive an overall program to completion
- You are a team player; you are able to succeed individually but are able to support your teammates when needed, and help them to succeed
- You enjoy putting together documentation and processes that help enable others to succeed
- You are never satisfied, and are always looking for ways to improve and streamline our processes and procedures
- You care about culture and bring elements of fun and levity into your day-to-day
Our Operations team is the heartbeat of the Product & Engineering organization. We work together to ensure our department of over 400 individuals is able to operate efficiently and effectively. We partner closely with P&E Leadership to ensure we are supporting the needs of their teams, in addition to the greater P&E organization.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
