As a Principal on our Global Strategic Hiring Recruiting team, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of HelloFresh by identifying and recruiting exceptional leaders for a diverse range of positions across our tech, commercial, and operations domains.

You’ll be exposed to a lean and fast-paced environment surrounded by smart, passionate people, and working hand-in-hand with a highly engaged leadership team. Acting as a true talent advisor, your focus will be on partnering closely with HelloFresh executives to develop a strategic and proactive approach to leadership hiring.

🌎 This role is based in NYC and reports to the Director, Global Strategic Hiring & Talent Success

You will… 
  • Take full ownership of executing executive-level (Senior Director, Vice President, SVP, and C-Level) searches globally, from talent mapping, candidate identification, outreach to closing. Your primary focus will be on our North American business.
  • Work closely with HelloFresh senior leadership to deeply understand their talent needs and to create unique robust search strategies to identify and attract the best and brightest talent
  • Position yourself as a strategic talent advisor by providing guidance, data, industry perspective, and strong business judgment to influence hiring manager decision-making
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments to ensure alignment with HelloFresh's values, and business objectives
  • Deliver and negotiate complex offers while skillfully championing the company’s vision and objectives 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our recruiting processes, and look around corners to deliver unique approaches to hiring and retaining talent
  • Lead strategic efforts related to long-term succession planning and internal talent mapping in partnership with senior leadership and HRBPs 
  • Drive the expansion of our talent intelligence knowledge base by providing valuable market insights on industry trends and competitor landscapes
  • Strengthen our employer brand and ensure we provide an exceptional end-to-end candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion through every aspect of the hiring journey
  • Collaborate and/or take the lead on strategic initiatives across the broader HelloFresh Talent Acquisition team

What you’ll bring...
  • Significant end-to-end recruiting experience with a strong focus on engaging and closing leadership talent in complex and competitive markets
  • You are well-versed in all aspects of executive search including creative candidate sourcing, candidate generation, stakeholder management, and complex offer negotiation
  • You are comfortable managing key stakeholders up to Founder/C-Level, and show up as an egoless advisor
  • You are results-oriented and are comfortable working in a matrix environment with conflicting priorities and dotted lines.
  • You are able to adapt to frequently changing business needs and priorities, while still maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality in your work
  • You enjoy fact-finding, in-depth research, and diving into hiring metrics — and always resort to fact-based and data-driven approaches to influence others
  • You possess a proactive and results-driven mindset, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where decisions are made with urgency.
  • You enjoy building strong partnerships with key stakeholders, and demonstrate a consultative and collaborative approach
  • You have a natural inclination to build relationships face-to-face with both your stakeholders and your extended team in our Berlin office

New York Pay Range$138,500—$160,000 USD
