Principal Program Manager, Product Preview Programs 

 

Why We Have This Role

The Product Feedback and Insights Team (PFIT) within the Qualtrics Product, UX, & Engineering (PXE) organization  is responsible for running programs that solicit customer and user feedback on Qualtrics products during the product development lifecycle and post product launch. The team manages the Early Access and Public Preview programs, multiple Customer Advisory Boards, Product Ideas/Feature Requests, Product Satisfaction and user experience measurement, and the delivery of product experience insights to PXE. 

The Principal Lead, Product Preview Programs will oversee the Early Access (Private) Preview and Public Preview programs at Qualtrics.  This role requires strong relationship building, program management, and the ability to coordinate and prioritize in collaboration with individual contributors, team leads, and C-Suite leaders from Qualtrics, our customers,  and ecosystem partners.

The Early Access (Private) Preview program allows customers to engage with in-development features, provide feedback, and work with Qualtrics Product teams to ensure that the focus is on driving customer value through innovation.  This role will foster partnership across product, engineering, marketing, sales, customer success and legal teams to bring customers and Qualtrics’  teams together and gather insights that feed product development and innovation goals.

The Public Preview program allows early adopters customers the ability to use new large innovations in advance of commercial launch.  This role will work with Product, Marketing, PXE-Operations and frontline team members to drive maximum awareness and adoption of new innovations in Public Preview. 

This role is special as it touches nearly every part of the company and offers an opportunity to gain insights across business functions while making a real and lasting impact on our customers’ experience with Qualtrics products.  You will be at the center of improving experience for an experience management company. This is an individual contributor role, with the opportunity to coach and mentor junior team members. This role reports to the Global Leader, Product Feedback & Insights.

  • Organizational Skills:  Ability to effectively manage resources, timelines, and priorities while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality
  • Stakeholder Management: Represent the voice of customer to product team member and senior leadership to foster buy-in for process and product improvements
  • Problem Solving:  Aptitude for identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues and risks that may arise with customer engagement and cross-organizational collaboration
  • One Team:  Demonstrate leadership by inspiring and motivating teams, providing clear direction and aligning stakeholders buy-in for improvements

 

How You’ll Grow

  • Create relationships across Product & Engineering teams with insights into the product development lifecycle
  • Gain knowledge about Product Operations and Go To Market methodologies
  • Develop recommended practices for continuous improvement of the product manager and customer experiences
  • Work closely with teams developing the products and practices for Qualtrics Ai investments, helping to define the future of GenAi at Qualtrics 

 

Things You’ll Do

  • Represent Qualtrics Early Access Private Preview and Public Preview to customers and internal teams
  • Partner with Product, XM Success (Customer Success), and Account Teams to align customer engagement on our most impactful feature/ product lines 
  • Raise insights from customer conversation and product validation to product owners for improvements
  • Champion customer interest and concerns regarding cutting edge initiatives such as GenAI and collaborate to ensure project owners expressly address customer needs
  • Manage release readiness activities for Public Preview stages in partnership with the Launch Readiness, Go to Market teams and product leadership

 

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

  • 10+ years working in a Product Management, Program Management, Release Management or similar role
  • 8+ years of direct customer experience
  • 8+ years demonstrated success delivering on cross-organizational programs
  • Ability to take complex asks and break them up into manageable and clear tasks and deliverables
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships with C-suite executives and senior leaders
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring team members
  • Excellent understanding of SaaS business models and processes
  • Ease with delivering sensitive messages to external stakeholders and senior leaders
  • Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Nice to have: At least one year experience working hands-on with the Qualtrics software platform
  • Nice to have: At least one year experience with coda software platform

For full-time positions, this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and other benefits, based on eligibility criteria.
