The Challenge

OneTrust is seeking a DemoX Lead who will report into the Director, Global SE Center of Excellence and lead a global team of Demo Engineers. The DemoX Lead is a technical leadership position responsible for driving overall demo strategy, vision, daily execution, and enablement of the team. The role requires both strategic and tactical thinking. You will play a crucial role in shaping a growing organization and cement further our position as the strategic backbone of our field organization. This person must be able to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, engineering, operations, and executive teams to bring the best product demo experience for our customer to life. This leader will be part of the leadership team of the Global SE Center of Excellence.

Your Mission
  • Create a scalable demo strategy, infrastructure, and operations to ensure the GTM team is delivering optimal and relevant product demonstrations to new and existing customers
  • Lead and execute initiatives encompassing the creation, delivery and support of demonstration environments and assets to support internal and external teams that leverage product demos
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Solution Engineering, Marketing, and Product team to identify improvement potential and develop innovative, replicable solutions to address them
  • Provide strategic expertise and insights to senior leadership based on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive analysis
  • Contribute to other Sales Excellence initiatives focused on revenue enablement, process improvement, and cross-company growth initiatives
You Are
  • An experienced leader in the technology/infrastructure space with progressive technical leadership responsibilities and expertise working with cross-functional teams to create and drive the business strategy and execution
  • Comfortable in customer-facing situations; willingness and executive presence to engage in the market. Externally connected, well networked with peers and relevant communities
  • A strategist and an executor that can understand the key decisions needed to be made and be accountable those decisions are executed
  • Able to maintain positive relationships with all levels of our internal organization and channel partners through effective communication and relationship building
  • Able to develop creative solutions to complex problems and gain buy-in of colleagues across functions
  • Understand scalable and replicable sales motions, with the aim of executing sales plays at scale
  • Build and strengthen the business relationship with current accounts and new prospects
Your Experience Includes
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in the technology industry, ideally in an Enterprise Cloud-based Software company
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent technical field
  • Proven experience leading a presales function leveraging effective analytics, processes, and best practices to efficiently grow revenue
  • Experience running presales teams of product lines, regions and the ability to drive and build business plans and investment strategies for demos, POCs and sales enablement tools
  • High level of specialized sales and product solution knowledge with experience in leading customer solutioning engagements
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of sales operations and enterprise sales models, including multi-channel distribution
  • Has led or played a major role in a complex technology transformation
  • Experience working across a matrixed organization and influencing stakeholders outside of direct team. Strong leader and mentor who develops talent

For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.

Salary Range$123,750—$185,625 USDWhere we Work

  • Location-flex: Similar to other companies’ remote policies, for OneTrust “Location-flex" roles, you will primarily work from your home office location. However, you may be required to travel to our OneTrust offices or customer sites periodically based on the nature of your role.
