We're looking for a finance & strategy leader to support and evolve our AirCover Strategic Finance & Analytics team.
This role serves as a thought leader that dissects large scale product opportunities in the evolution of AirCover products and features. This individual is expected to be a strong cross-functional business partner who has a combination of hands-on analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, business savviness, and the ability to package their insights into strong narratives appropriate for senior executive consumption.

This person will have a high degree of visibility with senior management within the organization, including the VP of AirCover, Director of Product Marketing, and Finance leadership.
A Typical Day:
This role will be central to the AirCover cross-functional team, providing the team with strategic guidance to:
- Financial Modeling: Evaluate and synthesize analytical insights, perform rigorous financial analysis, develop go-to-market strategies, and drive operational excellence.
- Deliver Business Analyses and Insights: Work with Business Leads to translate data/trends into actionable insights.
- Drive Analytical Rigor for Long Range Planning: Provide business measurement and reporting solutions for Strategic Planning.
- Build, maintain, and continuously optimize driver based financial models to be used for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, monthly/quarterly close, and P&L management.
Your Expertise:
- 8-10+ years of relevant experience. Must have an analytical background in financial modeling, strategy consulting, business operations, investment banking, or have been in a similar embedded internal consultancy role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to put together clear, compelling narratives that are appropriate for consumption by senior executives including the CEO, CFO, and other senior leaders.
- Superb financial modeling skills and extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis.
- Experience and understanding of two sided marketplaces, and preferably some experience with Insurance related products and services.
- You are proactive, great at communicating with different audiences and can bring stakeholders on-board.
- You seek out and have a track record for driving change and impact in a fluid, unstructured working environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, accounting, engineering, statistics or other relevant field that demonstrates quantitative orientation. MBA or advanced degree a plus.
- You can comfortably manipulate large datasets, create new analytical frameworks, and develop actionable insights.
- Strong knowledge of SQL or some other querying language and using those tools to help synthesize complex information is a plus.
- Proficiency with financial forecasting systems (Oracle, Hyperion) is a plus.

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
