Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Principal UI/UX Designer with a passion for creating intuitive, data-driven user experiences and voice integration solutions. This role requires a strong foundation in analytics, reporting, interactive data visualization, and designing for voice-enabled products as part of our 0-1 voice product team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to move quickly, conduct customer interviews, and work autonomously. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge solutions in voice products and customer engagement platforms.

 

You will: 

  • Design Strategy & Research: Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and engineers to define user needs, business goals, and design objectives.
  • User-Centered Design: Develop user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes to create thoughtful, seamless experiences for analytics and reporting platforms.
  • Data Visualization & Reporting: Design interactive dashboards, visual reports, and data interfaces that allow users to extract valuable insights with ease.
  • User Behavior Analytics: Leverage UX tools to track and analyze user behavior, session recordings, and usage data to inform design decisions and prioritize improvements.
  • High-Fidelity Design: Build pixel-perfect UI designs and ensure their accurate implementation through collaboration with front-end developers.
  • Development-Ready Designs: Create design assets, specs, and component libraries that adhere to development standards to simplify handoff and ensure smooth implementation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct usability testing, analyze user feedback, and use data-driven insights to refine designs, improve workflows, and increase user engagement.

 

You have:

  • 10+ years of experience in UI/UX Design
  • Experience in Data-Driven & Voice Products: Expertise in designing interfaces for analytics platforms, dashboards, and reporting tools and familiarity with designing for voice-enabled products, including understanding workflows like call transcription, real-time analytics, and voice commands.
  • Data Visualization Expertise: Ability to transform raw data into user-friendly, visually appealing charts, graphs, and reporting interfaces.
  • UI/UX Design Proficiency: Strong command of design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD to create wireframes, prototypes, and final UI assets.
  • UX Tools & Analytics: Experience using tools like Hotjar, FullStory, Google Analytics, or Pendo to investigate actual usage, identify pain points, and inform iterative design improvements.
  • Ability to Move Fast: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize effectively and deliver high-quality designs under tight deadlines.

Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and drive initiatives to completion with minimal oversight.

  • User Research & Testing: Knowledge of user research methodologies and a strong ability to translate insights into actionable design improvements.
  • Development Alignment: Ability to create componentized, reusable design elements and adhere to development standards for easier implementation. Experience working within design systems and component libraries is a plus.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate design decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and advocate for design best practices.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to creating clean, functional, and consistent user experiences.

  • Experience in B2B or SaaS products with a focus on complex data workflows and voice-enabled solutions.
  • A portfolio showcasing data visualization, dashboards, reporting systems, and voice product designs.
  • Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration with product, development, and engineering teams to ensure smooth product development.
  • Strong grasp of design systems and component libraries for scalable design solutions.
  • Familiarity with voice integration challenges and opportunities in contact center environments.
