Procurement Buyer

Factor_ a brand of HelloFresh is seeking a Procurement Buyer to work directly with the Purchasing Manager to ensure food buying across the organization is tracked and managed efficiently.

You will... 

• Own weekly purchasing activities for a variety of food or packaging Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), ensuring the right product is at the right place at the right time
• Partner with multiple distribution centers, warehouse locations, and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and inventories match demand requirements
• Own operational relationships with a dynamic network of suppliers and vendors, holding suppliers accountable to on-time delivery and excellent quality
• Manage key weekly operations processes including placing POs, tracking freight, managing production issues, paying invoices, analyzing data and managing inventory and capacity levels
• Resolve any unforeseen problems with suppliers relating to operations, purchasing or quality/performance quickly and professionally 
• Drive cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives by recommending and testing new processes and implementing positive change
• Work alongside a driven, fast-paced team to continue building, growing, and improving our processes and capabilities

At a minimum, you have... 

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required or equivalent experience 
• 3+ years of procurement and/or sourcing experience 
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Excel 
• Flexibly to work weekends (on occasion)
