Procurement Buyer
- Place purchase orders to allocated vendors for a variety of food or packaging Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), at the correct price, quantity, buffer, etc.
- Partner with HelloFresh distribution centers, offsite production and warehouse locations, and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and inventories match demand requirements
- Drive continuous improvement efforts by recommending changes, testing new processes, and implementing updates
- Analyze purchasing data to ensure accuracy of information, purchasing procedures and identify any discrepancies, etc
- Resolve any unforeseen problems with suppliers relating to operations, purchasing or quality/performance quickly and professionally
- Conduct all weekly operations processes including updating POs, tracking freight, managing production issues, paying invoices, scrubbing data and managing inventory levels.
- Support your teammates to ensure that no boxes are missed and no ingredients are subbed due to procurement issues.
- Work with a team of internal high-achievers to continue building, growing, and improving on our offsite production capabilities

- Detail-oriented with proven ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet time sensitive deadlines
- Data driven- curious about what insights can be derived from numbers
- Highly adaptable- you thrive in a fast-paced, high-change and dynamic work environment
- A Bachelor’s degree is required
- 1-3 years of procurement and/or sourcing experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Excel
- Must be flexible to work weekends (3x a quarter)
