The role

HelloFresh is a leading global provider of meal kit delivery services, revolutionizing the way people cook and enjoy home-cooked meals. As part of our Procurement & SCM Controlling and business analytics team, we are seeking a Procurement Controlling Manager to join our dynamic and fast-paced organization. In this role, you will be involved in CoGS planning, financial analysis and savings reporting across our direct and indirect procurement operations. You will be connecting business with finance across 10 markets in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the UK.

What you’ll do
  • Savings Measurement Reporting: Maintain and improve regular and consistent savings reporting to provide visibility into procurement performance and savings achievements. Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate savings metrics to stakeholders and senior management.
  • COGS Budgeting: Maintain and improve the ingredients budgeting process, working closely with the direct procurement team to forecast and track costs, identify areas for improvement, and ensure cost efficiency and accuracy.
  • Indirect categories budgeting: Coordinate the yearly planning and quarterly forecasting process. Act as the liaison between international finance, local markets and category managers.  
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Finance, and Operations, to ensure alignment and integration of procurement controlling activities with broader business objectives. Provide insights and recommendations to support senior leadership decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM, Business Administration, Finance or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in procurement controlling, category management, cost analysis, or financial planning and analysis, preferably in a fast-paced and data-driven environment.
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes, cost structures, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems and data visualization tools (Tableau).
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Prior experience in the food or consumer packaged goods industry is a plus.
