About the job

This position is needed to support source-to-pay enablement projects, strategic initiatives for vendor management, and procurement operations activities.  

Twilio is seeking a Procurement Enablement Manager to join our Procurement team in Bengaluru, India who has expertise in the following key areas: 

  • Procure to Pay (P2P) Lifecycle
  • Project Management
  • Reporting and Analytics
  • Policy Compliance Enforcement
  • Strategic Supplier Management & Diversity Program experience
  • You will be working alongside the Procurement & Sourcing team, Legal, Accounts Payable, and other cross-functional teams to enable best-in-class Procurement systems and processes. This role will require you to be capable of adapting to a fast-paced environment, a go-getter, highly motivated, customer centric, and responsive. You should be incredibly process driven with a high level of attention to detail and be able to work with various internal tools.

    Responsibilities

    In this role, you’ll:

    • Report and action Procurement policy violations, after investigating potential violations in partnership with Accounts Payable. 
    • Lead development of an external supplier landing page that highlights supplier FAQ, how to navigate supplier portal, an invoice lookup tool, Twilio code of conduct, Sustainability expectations etc.
    • Partner with Twilio sustainability team to lead on reporting of supplier GHG emissions.
    • Develop and continuously improve training guides/master guides utilized by Requesters and source-to-pay partners. 
    • Project manage and drive simple enhancements in Twilio’s contract management system with IT and be a key resource to help drive the change over to a new CLM too.
    • Implement vendor discount rules for early payment, and develop pay term strategy with sourcing.
    • Drives strategic projects in the vendor management space including supplier data cleansing, creating a vendor negative news search process on existing/new vendors, getting vendors to adopt supplier portal/supporting them, and enhancing reporting an accuracy of supplier diversity. 
    • Track and manage preferred supplier list; identify then partner with sourcing on areas to increase preferred supplier usage.
    • Drive simplification of our POC process into a centralized workflow.
    • Own and manage a procurement operations category, supporting Sourcing with analytics and tail spend management. 
    • Assist Vendor Management in processing requests such as vendor add, vendor data changes, vendor consolidation, running sanctions compliance checks on vendors, etc.

    Required:

    • Minimum 8+ years experience in roles in Procurement
    • 3 years independently conducting project enhancements across Tech and Non-Tech categories such as Software, Hardware, Marketing, Corporate Services and others
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Tech, Legal, Engineering, Marketing or related discipline or equivalent work experience
    • Exceptional ability to understand source-to-pay processes and knowledge of utilizing different legal and vendor management documents (W8 / W9s, 1099s, MSA’s, Order forms, SOW’s), as well as the ability to understand general Privacy and Security concerns 
    • Extremely flexible & has experience supporting global customers
    • Experienced with vendor management programs such as financial risk screening, supplier diversity, greenhouse gas reporting, fraud risk etc.
    • An analytical mindset, able to make sound business decisions and have a strong aptitude in Excel pivot tables provide data driven insights
    • A positive ‘can-do,’ service attitude, proactive, able to move fast and make well thought out decisions
    • An exceptional communicator (written and verbal). 
    • Team player with a history of creating strong relationships with customers and business partners
    • You’re data driven and detail oriented, relying on research and benchmarks and your strong knowledge of the source-to-pay landscape

    Desired:

    • Experience using ServiceNow, Contract Management Systems, and Oracle

    Location

    This role will be remote, and based in our Bengaluru office.

    Travel
