About the roleWe are looking for a procurement manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of vendor management for indirect spending and drive company-wide procurement operations. You will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, negotiating with, and managing vendors of all shapes and sizes spanning hardware, software, and professional services.
At Applied Intuition, you will:- Provide executive summaries of key agreements that include business context, terms, benefits, costs, risks, and means for mitigation
- Work cross-functionally and build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop and execute sourcing plans
- Gain a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements, and priorities across suppliers and spending categories
- Analyze spend data and trends to identify savings opportunities, formulate strategies and action plans to optimize vendor performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and drive sourcing, contract negotiations, category strategy, spend analysis/market intelligence, and supplier management across all indirect spend categories
- Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with contracts and SLAs
- Identify opportunities to improve vendor operations
- 5-7 years of relevant strategic sourcing experience in a procurement function
- Experience with indirect spend categories, including Corporate Services, HR, Contractors, Consulting, Facilities, Marketing etc.
- Experience leading Coupa integration and serving as a Coupa platform administrator
- Strong understanding of negotiation tactics and key contract terms, with proven track record of leading cross functional negotiation teams and ensure alignment at all levels
- Ability to identify potential risks and liabilities as they relate to policies and business objectives, and proactively develop solutions on contractual terms in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Experience working in the automotive, defense, or industrial sectors with experience procuring highly customized components
- Direct spend experience with hardware, software, engineering services, data center, infrastructure, and cloud
Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.
Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.
