Role Responsibilities: What you will do

  • Develop and implement a strategic procurement to ensure material availability and increase cost efficiency
  • Ensure that all procurement contracts include robust warranty provisions that safeguard the company's interests and mitigate potential risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to secure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain
  • Evaluate, select, and onboard new suppliers based on their capabilities, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Coordinate and manage the timely procurement and delivery of prototypes to ensure they meet project specifications and deadlines, supporting the product development process
  • Participate operationally in day-to-day business to ensure direct and efficient implementation of your strategies
  • Collaborate with various departments, including engineering, aftersales, supply chain, legal, and finance, to align procurement with overall business strategies.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, supply chain management, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Min. 5 years of procurement and supply chain management experience, ideally within the robotics or tech industry
  • Experience in purchasing in a fast-growing company and are familiar with the challenges of a young company and those that arise in the context of strong growth
  • Proven track record of negotiating and managing supplier contracts, reducing costs, and improving supply chain efficiency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in procurement software and tools
  • Hands-on mentality and a willingness to be operationally active
  • Excellent communication in English and German and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
