The role 

As part of the HelloFresh ANZ Group, Youfoodz is an innovative fresh meal company creating freedom through products that customers trust! Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, the Procurement Officer is responsible for driving purchasing initiatives, supporting internal departments, and maintaining and developing supplier relationships.

You will...

• Purchase supply of products/materials
• Analyse & interpret demand forecast and changes to ensure ‘in stock’ position at all times – across business divisions
• Apply logic to maintain lowest cost for products/materials – linked to matrix pricing offerings
• Track and record orders
• Proactively engage the supply base
• Consistently engage internal stakeholder on change, version control & consumption rates of Packaging materials
• Monitor order expenses
• Weekly stocktaking category management and data entry
• Track delivery performance
• Highlight risks and opportunities linked to supply status & changing demand
• Communicate supplier performance and cost variation/s to management
• Recommend new processes or systems for improvement; implement new ideas and strategies
• Any other duties as reasonably required or directed

You have...

• Prior experience working in a busy environment as a Purchasing Officer/Buyer, preferably in FMCG
• Advanced Excel skills is a must as demand forecast will be run of spreadsheets
• Strong background in inventory management
• Display a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A positive “can do” attitude
