Joining Collibra’s Product Management team

Collibra is looking for a talented Product and Solution Content Engineer to help us build world class products and solutions on top of our market-leading Collibra Platform for our enthusiastic customer base.

This is a hybrid role based in our Brussels office. Our hybrid model means you’ll work from the office at least two days each week. This setup helps us stay connected, work more closely together, and keep making progress as a team.

Product and Solution Content Engineers at Collibra are responsible for
  • Helping scrum teams build product, solution and use case based content (like our EU AI Act, EU Data Act, GDPR/CCPA solution, BCBS 239 solution, etc.) on top of our world-class Collibra product
  • Working hands-on as a Content Engineer with the Product and Engineering scrum teams to understand what they are building and how content through configuration and customization can uplevel their product for our customers and users
  • Formulating, suggesting and developing new ideas and features to further improve our solutions and products
  • Enriching the out-of-the-box experience of Collibra platform through well designed simple yet effective configuration and customisation on top of our platform with a passion for quality and effective user experience
  • Actively taking part in the Collibra community forums as a platform expert, helping customers build out high quality customisations and supporting them to set up the platform experience in a scalable way
  • Helping the Product Management team shape the vision and roadmap of our Data Governance platform
You have
  • 5+ years of experience as a (data) consultant, architect, business analyst and/or process engineer
  • A passion for high quality, good design and clean user experience
  • Experience working independently based on business and product requirements documents
  • Working experience with one or more of the following skills: Eclipse IDE, Groovy, HTML, BPMN 2.0, data modelling tools or SQL!
  • Demonstrated ability to learn fast new technologies and software applications
  • Experience working with Data Governance, Data Quality, in Data Management, Data Lineage, Data Privacy, Data Catalog, etc. is a huge plus!
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
You are
  • Passionate about solving problems effectively and efficiently through cross-functional collaboration and data-informed prioritization and decision making
  • Convinced that carefully crafted content can mean the difference between a good and a great product
  • Familiar with supporting different types of stakeholders, and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and global environment
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced and methodical in handling, prioritizing and following through on many different types of requests for key product stakeholders
Measures of success
  • Within your first month, you will be successfully onboarded at Collibra and within the Data Governance pillar team
  • Within your first three months, you will have successfully introduced your role within the Product and Engineering scrum teams, you will be more familiar with Collibra’s platform and products and you will be familiar with most essential configuration and customisation capabilities, and you will be a certified Data Steward.
  • Within your six months, you have established yourself as the primary interface for Product Managers to assist their teams with building content, configuration and customization to support a successful launch of their products and capabilities. And you will be a certified Collibra Ranger.
