This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.

THE ROLE

This pivotal role places you at the forefront of Product Configuration Management, leading the mission to ensure seamless product lifecycle and configuration integrity across our cutting-edge hardware, software, and manufacturing processes. You will serve as the critical link between Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to champion PLM system adoption and enforce best practices for data governance. This is a highly collaborative leadership role where your strategic oversight will directly drive operational excellence and compliance across the global product portfolio.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Establish and govern configuration control standards for all product Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation across hardware and software lifecycles, ensuring absolute data integrity and regulatory compliance.

  • Lead the end-to-end Engineering Change Management (ECM) process, coordinating timely execution and alignment between global Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to minimize disruption and accelerate new product introduction.

  • Optimize the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system by managing and refining workflows, access permissions, and providing essential training, acting as the subject matter expert to drive user adoption and operational efficiency.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by conducting regular data audits and analyzing key configuration metrics to proactively identify process gaps and implement solutions that enhance overall product development and delivery.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Expertise in Product Configuration: Deep, practical knowledge of configuration management within a technical environment (hardware, software, or manufacturing), including complex product structures and all stages of the product lifecycle.

  • PLM System Mastery & BOM Governance: Hands-on proficiency with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems (e.g., Agile, Arena, Teamcenter) and a demonstrated ability to define, manage, and audit intricate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Engineering Change processes (ECO/ECN).

  • Cross-Functional Leadership and Influence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proven success in leading, influencing, and collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams (Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality) to achieve consensus and organizational alignment.

  • Strategic Analysis and Process Optimization: A strong analytical mindset with the ability to conduct data audits, interpret key performance metrics, and proactively implement process improvements that drive measurable business efficiency and maintain high-quality standards.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Houston office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
