About the job

This position is needed to help grow and develop a world class team that uses data to influence decision making and deliver product insights. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading teams through complex problems, and effectively deepening global stakeholder relationships in order to collaboratively deliver strategic, meaningful, and data-backed insights that develop and grow our industry leading communications products.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Attract, recruit, onboard top talent. Foster a culture of learning and development, providing opportunities for professional growth within your team. Build and lead a high-performing team of Product Analysts, fostering a culture of strong collaboration, curiosity, and ownership at all levels. 
  • Provide guidance, support, and thought leadership to product leaders to harness available insights in support of critical business needs, goals and decisions. 
  • Deliver compelling vision and strategy for the product analytics function, driving utilization of best practices and fostering a data based decision making culture within product management and across the organization.
  • Deliver on the OKRs and milestones you set for your team. Clearly communicate and align stakeholders at all levels regarding the requirements, timing, and contents of deliverables. 
  • Set clear priorities for the team and effectively help resolve prioritization conflicts. Own and drive projects to completion, on time, and with excellent quality.

Required:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in building and managing high-performing teams in a remote, preferably global environment. Ability to mentor and coach team members across all levels
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and project management skills. Demonstrated experience working with business stakeholders throughout the complete delivery lifecycle: from ideation and intake to enablement. iteration, and end-of-life.
  • 4+ years of professional experience performing quantitative analysis, building dashboards and reports, working with business partners to convert ambiguous, messy data into tangible and actionable results that influence product and business impacting decisions in a fast paced industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, CIS, or equivalent field, or equivalent practical experience.

Desired:

  • Experience with data/BI engineering, data warehousing, scaled data processing, and distributed computing technologies (Hive/Presto/Spark/Zeppelin) is a strong plus.
  • Experience in data science or advanced analysis techniques, including predictive analytics, regression, hypothesis testing, and causal analysis is a plus.

Location 

This role will be remote, and based in India.
