Product Designer, Pet Health

We are looking for a Product Designer, Pet Health in our Bellevue, WA, Boston, MA or Plantation, FL offices. You will join the Chewy Pet Health design team and translate customer needs into well-crafted products. You'll know how to build product experiences that allow pet parents, businesses, and veterinarians to accomplish their goals in the most elegant and enjoyable way possible. You'll report into the Manager, Product Design.
What You'll Do:
- Transform customer goals into compelling products that have purpose, simplicity, and are practical to build.
- Develop multiple solutions for a specific challenge that can be delivered across a range of products, platforms, and devices and streamlined prioritization.
- Own the design process for your projects from end to end: Discovery and concept brainstorming, flows and wireframes, and full-fidelity prototype designs.
- Collaborate with partners, product managers, developers, content strategists, user researchers, and other designers.
- Champion cohesion and consistency to unite a growing family of products.
- Present your design process, inspiration, and decisions to partners, including C-suite executives.
- Cultivate Chewy’s culture and principles within your team and the design practice.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role
- 1+ years of experience leading large-scale product design programs.
- Experience delivering high-quality digital products that delivered results and demonstrate the depth of design skills; illustrated in a portfolio or case studies.
- Experience communicating and presenting complex problems.
- Evaluate the customer and growth of your design decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent degree) in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience with the design field.
- You may require travel and time in the local office.
Bonus:
- Experience in Pharmacy and eCommerce industries
- Experience with Product Details Pages (PDP), Cart, Navigation, and Homepage to Checkout experience
- Visual design and UI skills
Hub Locations & Work Arrangement:
- Hub Locations: Bellevue, WA | Boston, MA or Plantation, FL
- Hybrid Model: 2+ days in hub location per week
- Remote: This role is NOT a remote role.
Compensation & Benefits:
Our salary range for a Product Designer position is $115,500.00 - $183,500.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) while salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
