Product Development - Fats & Oils Specialist (f/m/d)

As a Product Development Specialist, with focus on Fats & Oils, you will develop new and innovative ChoViva products that meet consumer needs by performing physical and chemical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
A Taste of What to Expect- Drive the implementation of fat system strategies for ChoViva across various applications to optimize performance and reduce recipe costs
- Set up and apply analytical tools and methodologies to evaluate fat systems, including crystallization behavior, melting profiles, and more
- Collaborate closely with fat suppliers and internal teams to integrate various fat systems into applications
- Provide technical support and training to customers, ensuring effective use of our fat solutions
- Research on alternative fats & oils and support the filing of new intellectual property
- Experience in applying edible fats & oils in product development, ideally gained at a leading fat supplier or in the confectionary industry
- Deep understanding of fats & oils chemistry and physics.
- Solid laboratory experience and a strong motivation to work in a hands-on lab environment independently
- Master's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field
- Familiarity with cost engineering and recipe optimization
- Proactive, hands-on mindset with a problem-solving approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with customers
