As a Product Evangelist at Appian, you will be responsible for how people experience the Appian product in the market. Your role includes crafting and sharing compelling stories through a deep understanding of business use cases, coupled with innovative application design. You'll be responsible for producing engaging multimedia content of the Appian product - images, GIFs, and videos - to highlight the Appian experience on various platforms, from our website to keynote presentations. Leveraging Appian Community Edition, the free version of the Appian product, you will be a key player in driving an exceptional hands-on product experience, where users can realize the value of automation with Appian in a self-serve manner.

 

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Create and enhance cutting-edge applications that tell the story of Appian’s value.

  • Work day-to-day with other evangelists to support strategic releases and GTM events.

  • Drive engagement through hands-on experiences that inspire new Appian users.

  • Produce engaging multimedia content that illustrates the value of Appian’s product.

  • Deliver impactful product presentations through mediums like developer livestreams and Marketing events.

  • Test drive emerging product features and provide feedback to Product Engineering.

  • Build automation and tooling that helps our team work better.

Basic Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in enterprise software, in a technical marketing, sales, or consulting role.

  • B.S. degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math, or otherwise demonstrated aptitude for technology.

  • Excellent storytelling and design skills.

  • General understanding of automation software. 

  • Works well under pressure.

  • Time management and prioritization skills are essential to be successful in this role.

  • Some experience programming is required.

  • Ability to travel to events as needed.

  • Proficiency with Google G-Suite. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in enterprise software, in a technical marketing, sales, or consulting role.

  • Experience with Appian, UX Design, AI, Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation, Process Mining, SQL, and APIs

  • Proficiency with video editing softwares like Camtasia.
