Building a team starts with valuing the team. We hire the best of the best to ensure you’re working with people you can constantly learn from. You’re trusted to get your work done your way while testing the limits of what’s possible and what’s next. We work hard to provide a culture where everyone feels supported, and our employees feel it—their votes helped us become one of Newsweek's Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces in 2023.

We also value sports. Not just because of the big wins and highlight-worthy plays, but because of the lasting impact sports can have: the lifelong lessons in teamwork and dedication; the influence of inspiring mentors; the priceless opportunities to play at the next level. Sports can change lives—that’s what we value.

Our team helps the world see sports differently through products that make it easier to capture video, analyze data, share highlights and do a lot more.

Your Role

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our new product team in Mumbai. You’ll be improving how our internal team of sports analysts operate across Hudl Assist, Wyscout, InStat and Volleymetrics products. These products are used by thousands of teams around the world, from youth clubs to the pros.

As a Product Manager, you’ll:

  • Own the product. You’ll act quickly and decisively to point the product in a healthy direction. You’ll ensure the product backlog is transparent, visible, understood and prioritized. Alongside your Engineering counterpart, you’ll hold the squad accountable for delivering on sprint goals and quarterly product commitments.
  • Research our customer base. You’ll build a deep understanding of users through interviews and surveys. This knowledge will be applied to your prioritization and scoping decisions, and used to form a roadmap of future opportunities for your team.
  • Lead a cross-functional team. You’ll guide Software Engineers and Quality Analysts as they discover and deliver effective solutions to our internal users.
  • Partner with stakeholders. You’ll work with local and international stakeholders to impact our sports data strategy. With our global team, these team members and stakeholders are located all over the world—so you may need to overlap your schedule with theirs occasionally.
  • Help improve analysis. You’ll work to improve training tools, processes and manual data collection workflows used by our sports analysts to improve their speed and accuracy.

This role requires 5 days in the office per week, so we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our offices in Mumbai, India.

For this position, we're able to offer a salary of between 1,425,000 - 2,375,000 INR. Please note, this is a 1-year contract.

Must-Haves
  • Product Owner experience. You’ve held a similar role and know what it takes to succeed.
  • English language proficiency. You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with cross-cultural remote teams. Our product team is currently spread across the U.S. and Europe, and remote collaboration skills will be part of the role.
  • Availability to work flexible hours. We strive to maintain a healthy work-life balance, but in this role, it will be necessary to occasionally overlap with stakeholders and collaborators across time zones for the team’s success.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experimentation methods. Optimizing products calls for small experiments (e.g. A/B testing) to validate assumptions. Understanding the options available to test ideas before committing to building and shipping them helps find the best solution.
  • Data modeling and forecasting experience. Our Hudl Assist business is highly seasonal, and we evaluate opportunities by modeling revenue or savings over projected future volume. You understand how to query relevant data and manipulate it to visualize potential paths forward.
  • Domain experience. You’ve worked in sports analysis or with platforms that support business process outsourcing, or help desk and ticket management solutions.
Our Role
  • Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., national and public holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
  • Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
  • Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. We’ve invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. We’ll also provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
  • Cover your medical insurance. We’ll provide both medical and accidental coverage for you.
  • Retiral benefits. Provident fund and Gratuity.
