Our consumer-facing Storefront team is responsible for building and growing the native apps and websites customers use to shop our catalog. We leverage technology to make shopping for millions of products feel simple and personal. 

We are looking for an experienced product manager to own product strategy, vision, and execution of the core customer data platform. This platform is mission critical to all digital storefront experience around the world, serving millions of requests per day. You’ll lead a cross-functional team to reach world-class quality metrics while building out new capabilities to power frictionless, personalized, and omnichannel purchasing flows. You’ll be part of an exceptionally talented Product Management and Technology community at a Fortune 500 company.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead product discovery, strategy, and roadmap for the mission critical core customer data including core account and location data.
  • Lead cross-functional technology team to reach world-class quality metrics while building out new capabilities to power frictionless, personalized, and omnichannel purchasing flows.
  • Partner closely with technology and commercial teams to grow Wayfair’s businesses across all stores and customer segments around the world. 
  • Evangelize best practices for data ownership & stewardship, shaping our approach to a scalable and high quality platform for customer data.
  • Drive meaningful business and customer outcomes enabled by your hiqh-quality and scalable purchase platform.

We Are a Match Because You Have:

  • 6+ years experience in software product management with direct experience managing APIs as products. 
  • An ownership mentality. You proactively work to improve your product, its reliability, and plans for its future state. You propose adjustments to priorities as needed, and take responsibility for outcomes, celebrating team wins, and surfacing learning moments.
  • Good judgment. You manage risk, know when to pivot, can assess multiple paths forward, and use data to inform and advocate for the right next steps.
  • Technical acumen. You can understand intended customer and business outcomes and translate them into backend data, data service, and platform solutions that manage for scalability. You have a proven track record of sustaining and maintaining a high bar for your platform space.
  • Collaborative approach & excellent communication skills. You have experience working with multiple disciplines–engineering, design, analytics and business partners–and ability to accelerate progress toward shared goals and bring others along.
