As a Gemini Product Manager, specializing in Data, you will be at the forefront of advancing the most capable general multimodal large language model. The role

Product managers at Google DeepMind identify and deliver on opportunities to apply cutting-edge research to products and infrastructure across Google and Alphabet, and that are used by millions of people. Key responsibilities
  • Define the product strategy and vision for data within Gemini, deeply understanding product, business, and user needs and translating them into a roadmap.
  • Influence the model development roadmap and strategy by providing expertise and guidance on how data can unlock new capabilities and address current challenges in building advanced AI.
  • Lead the planning and execution for generating the necessary volume, types, and quality of data aligned with Gemini's priority capabilities and overall product direction.
  • Establish robust quality assurance processes and build sustainable, effective infrastructure and pipelines to ensure the reliability and efficacy of data at scale.
  • Collaborate closely with world-class research scientists and engineers on the Data team and across Gemini to integrate data generation techniques and evaluate their impact on model performance.
  • Identify and champion new opportunities for leveraging data, exploring both experimental and established ideas to expand its application and enhance Gemini's evolution.
About you

In order to set you up for success as a Product Manager at Google DeepMind, we look for the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related role.
  • 2 years of experience building and shipping technical products.

 

In addition, the following would be helpful (but not required): 

  • Track record of driving launches through complex stakeholder management.
  • Previous experience working on ML/AI products.
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Data Science / Machine Learning

 

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $183,000 - $271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
